Biblical Ministries Worldwide - New Zealand
Our Vision - to 2012
  • To bring our four current church plants in Auckland/Hamilton to autonomy.
  • To begin four new churches in Auckland/Hamilton.
  • To equip eight men for full time ministry.
  • To recruit six missionary units for Auckland/Hamilton
Our Strategy
  1. Missionaries will serve primarily as facilitators to equip nationals in church planting and pastoral ministries.
  2. A church-based Bible institute training program is being utilized by some of our churches to train Christian leaders. See http://www.btcp.com for more information.
  3. We will strive to utilize the team concept in establishing new churches, meaning a minimum of two church planting units will work together to begin a new work. This could be a combination of missionaries and national workers.
  4. We may work with established BMW churches to assist them to begin new churches.
  5. We will link our church plants together in the following ways:

a. By encouraging each church to participate in the Fellowship of Independent Fundamental Churches of New Zealand

b. By assisting our sister churches with such things as:
  • Pulpit supply
  • Guest speakers
  • Prayer support
  • Support of church-sent missionaries
  • Pastoral internship support
  • Special needs as requested by the local church
Our Needs
  • We are seeking 6 missionary units to assist our team in Auckland/Hamilton to achieve our goals for church planting in these cities by 2012.

Update: We currently have 3 units raising support to join our team.

  • We are open to the potential of beginning a network of churches in either Wellington or Christchurch once we have completed recruiting 6 units for Auckland/Hamilton.
Profile for missionaries sought by BMW New Zealand:
  1. Team player - A willingness to work within our stated strategy; a willingness to help the whole team and not become isolated in one particular church plant.
  2. Flexibility - a willingness to adapt, as needed, to the changes in churches on the field.
  3. Facilitator - A passion to equip people for ministry.
